What We Know
How does a brand known for loud, maximalist buy replica watches and equally ambitious marketing wrap up an anniversary year for one of its most important watches? You end with a party in Miami, of course. I joined Hublot (and Tag Heuer, more on that soon) on location for Miami Art Week, where the big Art Basel fair takes center stage, but people flock to Miami Beach for all of the events and parties that happen around it.
The big night for the brand was unapologetically Miami core, set in the Basement at the Miami Beach EDITION hotel, we’re talking neon-lit everything, a performance by 50 Cent of his greatest hits, and the ultimate quest by partygoers to figure out who in that room was famous. At the center of it all was a set of perhaps the loudest Hublot designs I’ve ever seen, the perfect fake Hublot Big Bang Meca-10 Street Art editions watches.
A collection of four different colorways of the 44mm by 15.3mm Meca-10-powered AAA copy Hublot Big Bang watches that I can only describe as “Paintball Pollock” vibes, Hublot takes its in-house manually wound caliber and encases it in composite concrete cases painted by hand in splattered, UV-reactive paint. The “Magic City” in purple and green that reminds me of everyone’s favorite dinosaur, “Vice” goes all hot pink with a splash of blue, the “Big Water” comes in bright blue with greys thrown in, and my favorite of the four is probably the yellow, orange, and green “Sunshine” edition with subtle (if you can even use that word here) bits of pink.
All four feature the openworked HUB1201 Meca-10 caliber, with a unique architecture that places the balance wheel towards the front of the 1:1 clone watches, and a distinctive rack-and-pinion design for the 10-day power reserve indicator. A favorite detail of mine in some Big Bang cases: the midcase is smoked sapphire, giving a unique perspective on that caliber within. Bridges are finished in matte black, with some elements in contrasting silver, though they lack the more complex finishing of the smaller Meca-10 caliber launched this year. The power reserve wheel cover is finished in matching paint splatter to the rest of the case. Black accents on the watch, like the bezel screws and caseback, are all PVD-coated titanium. The visual “Street Art” chaos extends to the rubber straps, complete with a black ceramic and titanium deployant buckle.

What We Think
Top fake Hublot watches is in an interesting position at the end of 2025. It’s a little over a year into CEO Julian Tornare’s tenure, coming from TAG Heuer, and this 20th anniversary, though filled with new products, has felt more like a retrospective. It’s an inflection point for the brand, as Tornare promises a lot of change as he starts implementing his vision for Hublot over the next few years, not to mention a brand-new manufacture opening in 2026. What these Big Bang Meca-10 Street Art editions offer, however, is the classic Hublot playbook—loud, shocking, and certainly polarizing to the 36mm dress watch crowd.
At the same time, high quality Hublot duplicate watches many launches with its in-house Meca-10 calibers this year do corroborate Tornare’s mission to double down on the brand’s own watchmaking capabilities, which often get thrown to the wayside in public perception despite many of these in-house calibers being impressive in their own right.
But sometimes it’s easy to see why, like in these Street Art editions where the radioactive-looking paint is the main conversation starter, not the model’s technical capabilities. With only 10 pieces made of each, I think it’s safe to say that cheap reproduction Hublot watches has made these deliberately for its intensely devoted collectors, who, as you stand people-watching in a packed Miami nightclub, absolutely adore the aesthetic.
